My career best describes me as an experienced and effective sales, marketing and managerial professional. My roles have encompassed entrepreneur, new business development, account management, sales management, marketing management, event management, general management, business ownership, and business consulting. I have a demonstrated ability to guide clients to discover their true needs and/or competitive advantages, to collaborate with them as an adept problem-solver to optimize their opportunities, and to negotiate best outcomes.
My career spanned public and private sectors in many industries, including construction, finance, real estate, manufacturing, education, grocery, health, medical, military, nutrition, and technology. A sample listing of clients included the National Association of Home Builders, Fannie Mae, TCN Worldwide, American Poolplayers Association, Loop-Loc, BodyArmor, Hallmark, Red Bull, Waterloo, Haix, Umbro, ATF, U.S. Customs, U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Army. My success is based on strong attention to detail, upholding the highest business ethics, and an unwavering commitment to my clients – not only to delivering an excellent outcome, but also to making the process as smooth as possible.
While managing the Central Pennsylvania branch for a large commercial and residential roofing firm, I began serving on the Diocesan Building Commission, and continued through a three-year appointment to review building plans and flag potential construction, remodeling, and code issues. I will work with you to ensure you have knowledge of the recommended due diligence steps you should take and which professionals you should engage.
A Central Pennsylvania native, I have lived most of my life in our area and have also enjoyed living in Philadelphia, PA; the Washington, DC area; Shenandoah Valley, VA; Louisville, KY; St. Louis, MO; and Baltimore, MD. Living in multiple areas has given me a broad base of experiences both personally and professionally. Having enjoyed living in various home styles, I understand what characteristics may be important whether buying or selling in the city, the suburbs, or rural areas.
In my free time, I enjoy bicycling, swimming, hiking, spectator sports, and attending community events, especially those with outgoing people, great food, good drinks, and live music. I am also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoy reinvesting in my community by volunteering at local food banks, teaching sixth-grade religious education, and participating in charitable fund-raising events like century bicycle rides and polar plunges. Together with my wife Barb, we raise two boys and two dogs, all of whom provide a challenging and rewarding life.
